Re: Ian On The Radio Kewl. This is to update the above post, then, to note that Down in the Bowery was played before the demo version of One of the Boys on WRFL, Lexington, 7-11-10. Strong track. The subtle use of Ian's vocals is most effective.

Re: Ian On The Radio The first time I heard the song I was in a crowd and missed that part. When I finally heard it in all its glory I was blown away. Great performance on a wonderful track.

Re: Ian On The Radio Wonder if T. Visconti was behind this? Kinda think Alejandro masterminded Ian's appearance. It works on a subliminal level if you are not an "insider".
An off the wall comparison perhaps, but John Anderson did a cover of "Long Black Veil" and piped in Merle Haggard for a just a line or so at the end. It was credited as " a special ghost appearance." The same could describe Ian's work on "Bowery" - By no means a flashy riff, but it flat out serves the song.
