Post Re: Ian On The Radio
Talk show hosts on ESPN Radio in Cleveland were talking about their intro music which was P-Funk. These two guys (neither over 30) were talking (very badly I might add) about '70's music and one said they didn't like "stoner" bands like Mott The Hoople. I'm nearly certain they couldn't name a song by MTH and absolutely certain that these guys have no idea that the lead singer of Mott The Hoople wrote Cleveland Rocks. Guys that talk sports should stick to sports.

I know what you mean Randy. One morning on talk radio in Detroit I heard the guy explaining matter of factly that Samantha Ronson, who notoriously hangs out with the human train wreck Lindsay Lohan, was the daughter of guitatrist Mick Ronson. Luckily I was not the only one who deluged the station with phone calls correcting that insult.

Right now I'm listening to The Outsider on a Sunday afternon mix on local college station WFMU. (Followed by Elton John's Better Off Dead.)

Standing In My Light, same WFMU show I was listening to a week ago. I think we can call the Sunday Afternoon DJ a fan.
