Just a guess, but I would think the Fiddler dates would be IH friendly. It would be good for business. A built-in audience on the move. 8)

Take care out there, I've just been ripped off by a ticket tout ..... I asked him for tickets for The Cure and he gave me Placebo ones instead!

Post Re: Upcoming shows ...
I have just been advised by one of my relatives in Liverpool of the following show:

"Andy Fairweather Low is playing at The Brindley in Runcorn on Tuesday, 16th October.
I dont know whether you are a fan or not and what your agenda is the day before the Ray Davies concert but i am letting you know just in case you wish me to get a couple of tickets. Let me know if you fancy it."

I knew his name for years but only put a face to that name after watching the 'Concert For George' a few years ago. I've got Ray Davies in Liverpool on the 17th and Ian on the 18th and 19th in Manchester and London so will probably pass on the above.

But just out of curiosity I am interested in whether anyone has seen Andy Fairweather Low live and your feedback on the show?

One of Australia's best (if not the best) songwriters / performers, Paul Kelly, is back in the UK for a short tour in the next few weeks. If you get a chance try and check him out - you won't regret it. I'm pretty sure this tour is just Paul and his nephew, Dan Kelly, on guitar. But in any mode, solo or full band, he is well worth seeing. As a very broad guideline (but not limited to) if you like Elvis Costello, Nick Lowe and / or Ron Sexsmith you will definitely enjoy the shows.
