Although on the Baby Blue website you can't buy tickets on line - and the gig is no longer on Miller's official site...
The gig [duo rather than full band] at The Box Crewe [a spit from the station] appears to still be going ahead 20/11/09 - I thought this was earlier in the month and I had missed it - depending on a few things I'll turn up and pay on the door...
Blue / Baby Blue is [was] the trendy place in scouseland [but not on a blues night] I've never been - it's a bar in the Albert Dock bit - a fair hike across town from the station...

Alice Cooper @ Sheffield City Hall 28 Nov. Much prefer to see him at smaller theatre type venues rather than arenas, the show works alot better. Im wondering how many more tours Mr Furnier will be up to? Looking foreward to it... 1st gig since Hammersmith.

One of the mailing list chaps said the Baby Blue gig has cancelled.
Crewe would be good, but I have Alabama 3 on Friday, followed by Motorhead/The Damned/Girlschool on saturday.
The week after is Alice on the Tuesday, and UK Doors on the Friday.

Dio @ Sheffield on sunday. I've not seen RJD for many years and looking forward to hearing him again, his voice still sounds superb

Dio has cancelled his Uk tour that's a bugger as I was going to his Glasgow gig this Saturday, oh well will have to find something else to do.
I hope Alice Cooper does not cancell his gig next Wednesday night as that would really piss me off.

Was a class night, Beverley Skeete was amazing, did wondeful duet with Albert Lee on piano of Cryin in the rain. Whole band were superb throughout and each had their turn in spotlight. Great patter between numbers and Gary US did 2 * 4 song spots and was great. Was like a Blues Brothers show but with UK musicians.
Best part was meeting up with Sam again for a good piss-up on Sunday along Jim and Simon with a couple of the drivers.
He says hi to all those he met on acoustic tour, that was a great time and hope you get along to a gig and meet up again.

I admit it would be bad news, but if he cancelled Wed am after finishing Tuesday night's gig I could live with it.
So could Hooplah and RTM.
