 Re: What are you reading
Agree on both. Re. books - I tend to buy the factual ones, and borrow the fiction from the library. Mick

I think the "factual" ones are called non-fiction

 Re: What are you reading
Non-fictionally speaking, I suppose you're correct. Mick

 Re: What are you reading
And that's a fact Jack! I don't understand the Kindle bit at all. I'm with Kyassor . Amazon books are so much cheaper than the kindle download. And it's my understanding you can't share the download with anyone either. I think people just have to own the latest technology, wether it makes a lot of sense or not.

 Re: What are you reading
Lee Child - 61 Hours. Ex-military cop wanders around finding trouble and sorting it out in his own way. Like all the other Lee Child books. Fast paced and well-written. Recommended crimbo read. Mick

 Re: What are you reading
Lee Child is an author I am planning on reading soon. I have one of his books in the pile to read and he has been praised by Neil White, another author I like, so I am fairly certain I'll like his stuff.

 Re: What are you reading
Have you checked one out in a store yet? I flew on a plane once and the woman next to me was reading one so I asked her about it. she loved it and couldn't see going anywhere without it.

 Re: What are you reading
I remember Billy Connolly telling the story once about how the first few times he flew in a plane he took off but he never landed!!! He was doing parachuting training with the Territorial Army!! He said it was quite a novel experience down the track when he actually took off in a plane and landed as well!!

 Re: What are you reading
Lad I parachute training with was the same, first four flights he never landed and the fifth was only due to wind speed he actually landed in a plane. My first parachute jump I was second out oif the plane and the one mentioned above was first out. As he jumped I was sitting with my legs out of the door and leaned forward to see his chute open and fell out of the bloody plane. They had spotters on the ground marking our jump for the course and I was supposed to shout Thousand one Thousand 2 thousand 3 before checking the canopy had opened but all they heard was Fuuuuuuucking helllllllllll from 2000 feet.

Those vikings really got around. A few of them even made it to Minnesota and started a american football team!
