 Re: What are you reading
I just finished Just Kids. Really good. Black Monk Time has been good too. Gives a great description of what it was like to be playing in Germany at that time. Very much like what was in ATYD. He says that guys from english bands would come and stare at them.

 Re: What are you reading
Reading my monthly dose of true murder stories, jeez, there aint half been some crazy bastards. This months addition has the plainfield butcher, Katherine the lady who cooked and skinned her lover, and soho's italian mob murder.
On the front page it say "hertfordshire horror", it turns out this isnt about the break up of mott the hoople.

An Open Heart-Practicing Compassion In Everyday Life- The Dalai Lama Since 9/11/01 I have been a very angry person. I read at least one book like this a month to try and keep the anger that nearly ruined my life in check. I think it is finally starting to work .

Alternating between Major Pettigrew's Last Stand, Honeymoon in Tehran, and, just to irritate Hooplah, a Mills & Boon romance.

 Re: What are you reading
Because everyone should have a bit of contradiction in their lives. Sort of like going to an opera one night and a wrestling match on another. And yes, I've done that too.

 Re: What are you reading
Did you win? Anyway Carolyn, ignore Hooplah. The grumpy get must have read some of them or else he wouldn't know it's dross. You read what you want - if it gets too raunchy for you, lie back and think of England. Mick
