Justin. Yes this is a fantastic song encapsulated in the final verse: "The sky's a fire waiting to die And his heart's as empty as a dead man's eye She held his hands looked him in the eye And said 'Believe, believe' And every thing will be fine Everything will be all right." David.

Re: What are you listening to? PART 5
I hear it's a complete rip-off of White Riot by The Clash, what with having "White" in the title and being about a riot and all.

Re: What are you listening to? PART 5
Listening to Big Station. This and Real Animal have me hooked on Alejandro. I never got to listen properly to Street Songs of Love, so I haven't enjoyed it as much, but there is some great stuff hear. Never Had A Chance is now one of my favorites of his, Sally Was A Cop is a great song with some heavy heavy lyrics.
But I've really got to say, it wasn't till now that I fully appreciate Tony Visconti's work. Big Station has that sound, I'm not sure how to describe it, has to do with the muted trumpets and the sound of the guitars, that sound that I've always enjoyed throughout the years, and then I realize that most of the albums in my collection that have it were produced by Visconti.
Escovedo has some great stuff to say about Ian in a recent interview for Big Station on his web site. Good reading.
And a great CD.
