Re: What are you listening to? PART 4
Best new blues rock outfit I've heard in twenty years - forgive me - I'm ahyperbolic idiot. Stone Axe - There'd Be Days Sounds like one part Lizzy, one part Humble Pie, and Rod when he had the Faces. A great song. Give 'em a listen. Audio only, but man it's cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZucVdi0P ... re=related

It'd be a cool show, I'd wager. He said, "We'll see...." Oh yeah, where can I find a copy of Rory and Bruce? Sounds great, I didn't know they'd worked together. Just found this West, Bruce Jr., and Laing clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1P1IT8WLAw | | | | |
I posted a review on the recent gig thread. I never knew Jack had a son named Malcolm and I really know nothing about him. I only know now that he's a good bass player who carried the spirit of his father quite well. I did read that he was in new york recording an album when he contacted Corky Laing about getting together. With Jack unable to attend, they decided to use Malcolm instead. You can find some Rory/Bruce clips on youtube.I heard there is a multi disk dvd set with a bunch of Rory's live shows on it. I think the Rory/Bruce segment might be on that set.

Live From Nowhere in Particular - Joe Bonamassa. I apologize for not crediting whoever mentioned this guy on the board, but this is some of the best stuff I've heard in a long time!! I do credit the IHMB for finding a lot of new music, here's another!!

You cover a lot of bases on your shows. Impressive track list. Is Manasas the band with Steven Stills?
