Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game.
hard game to figure out, another midden of a park and another goalkeeper gets the man of the match award against celtic.
i have said it before and i will say it till i turn even blue, celtic have a midfield that couldnt tackle a haggis supper. we brought robson into the team before xmas and started to play a bit, and there was a bit of steel. what happens? we sell robson and its back to the same thing. i really dont see where mowbray is coming from here, he can sign 10 robbie keanes but he will never win anything without a midfield that can tackle.
full marks to to kilmarnock though, they fought well and took there chance.
mon the hoops

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game.
if Robbie Keane can't make it with Celtic, then he really should retire with what little is left of his reputation

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game.
rtm,
keane would have made it at liverpool had it not been for a manager who doesnt want to play him or sign him, he then played him upfront alone. sadly for keane, torres was out to, but i dont rate torres as he would get a game in the celtic midfield.
benitez will be off at the end of the season and your new boss will be o'neill.
a couple of rumours i have picked up and thats all they are, are mark hughes will be next celtic manager.

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game.
Keane was treat badly at Liverpool, played out of position or alone up front and too frequently substituted. having said all that, he went back to Spurs and couldn't hold down a regular place in the team, maybe Benitez flattened his confidence? Keane will be a success at Celtic.

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game.
Keane is only on loan till end of the season which will end in a weeks or two. But I don't blame Keane for his position at Spurs but his tax dodging manager Redknap I mean he's even let Allan Hutton go on loan to Sunderland, the man can't tell what a good player is.

Would that be the same diddy who single-handedly turned theChampions League final and won it for Barcelona?
