Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
well you keep telling me celtic are irish so why would you be ashamed to be a scot? how about rangers fans wrecking manchester city at the uefa cup final? who were the first british team to be banned from europe? how about the ibrox board getting away with the ibrox disaster, there were people killed on that stairway before the 1970s but the board didnt give a shit.
rangers brought weston to ibrox for one reason and that was to get a reaction from the celtic fans so the high and mighty rangers would look good, nothing short of desperate. rangers should be asked to explain why they brought a british soldier to the game anyway, i think we all know the honest answer though. if they wanted to do something good they could have brought over some of the victims from sunday bloody sunday.
when was the last time i mentioned winning the european cup, but now you mentioned it, thanks for reminding me. as for the union joke, celtic fans dont like to see the st patricks flag on it, total disgrace that being on it. its bad enough having the scottish flag on it. im also sure that the english are not to happy about the scots or the irish being on it to.
and just for the record, im 100% scottish.

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
as I have already stated I think the celtic ''fans'' behaviour was a DISCGRACE last sunday ........and I think that any defence of that type of behaviour an even bigger disgrace
The club should single out the individuals and ban them for life.......but they wont........because the biggest biggot of them all is a certain MR JOHN REID
bring back hanging I say

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
now its the celtic board, boy have rangers fans no memories at all? donald findlay was kicked out of ibrox for bigotry, but that was only because he was caught on camara.
the defence of the british army is a lot worse than a silly celtic fan waving a argentina top. but tell me, how many people did this top kill on sunday compaired to the british army.
rangers fans go on about there should be no politics in football, then they parade the british army an expect everyone to agree with them.
the pope is coming to scotland soon (something i totally disagree with) maybe celtic can parade him at the next old firm game. well i would hound him, just like the british army, get them both to feck.

Not sure which comments are riling you W&G but I'm not trying to justify anything, merely pointing out that the invite to SW for that particular game was designed to provoke the Celtic supporters. And I don't buy NW's comment that SW always attends derby matches because 'they get the biggest crowds'. Ibrox was full for Celtic. It would probably be equally full for Clyde or Cowdenbeath.

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
EXACTLY - he was kicked out as quite rightly rangers have no time for this type of behaviour now lets see if celtic can wake up sleepy Dimwit Desmond and get him to kick out Reid Reid is quick to criticise rangers for even the petiest of things but while their is vile biggotery and hatred going on under his own nose.....all of a sudden his big mouth appears to have been glued shut Show some backbone doppy desmond and kick him out behave showing support for the troops who are defending our realm is the right thing to do supporting vile terrorist biggots.........not even from the country where they cllaim they belong....is just wrong .......defending it is worse ......and dont give me a history lesson on sunday bloody sunday.......as i am from scotland and could give a damn about irish politics talk about last sundays magnificent lesson in football we kindly showed you sure wheel him on as long as he has a collecting tin and a speach in support our troops and the wonderful job they do protecting the realm - like seeing off threats from vile germans ......................(i mean adolf hitler et al of course)

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
whether you buy it or not it is true- there is a recession going on at the moment,,,added to the fact scottish football is shite (apart from celtic who despite losing every week are world class according to some people) attendances are down everywhere if rangers played clyde or cowdenbeath they would be lucky to get 10 to 15 thousand at ibrox .....but thinks could be worse........ celtic are losing fans hand over fist at the moment ......as the ones who dont quite get tony mowbrays long term master plan desert them in their droves unless off course the plan is a bugdet cut to move lock stock and barrel to the phone box accross the road by 2012 someone better tell tony in that area the box will be vandalised....i dont want to see him disappointed

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
falkirk v celtic........today
the hoops travel to falkirk today, though they have asked for the game to be called off. im having to listen it half wits complaining about celtic complaining up here. the reason is the falkirk pitch like every other pitch apart from paradise is a midden, i think i mentioned the state of the pitches months ago and its really bad. now all you get is celtic should shut up and just get on with it, i disagree. these pitches are dangerous and football is impossible to play on them. all the supporters should be united in complaining about this one, but as usual up in scotland they would rather be divided.
it was a 3.3 draw the last time at falkirk but it was a terrible game due to the pitch, it will be the same today.

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
you can't complain about the quality of football pitches, just because the pitches at most top clubs are like carpets these days doesn't mean that everyone has to follow suit. pitches vary in size and condition and this is what often gives a team home advantage. i can't think what makes a pitch dangerous to play on apart from ice and being waterlogged although i've seen some cracking games down the years on waterlogged pitches

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
cant agree, i dont mind a good mud bath now and then, but these pitches are dangerous. it was a bad football pitch that cost me, i was signed professionally with kilmarknock, i played on a park that shouldnt have been played on. well we played and that was the end of me as my leg nearly snapped at the knee with no player even tackling me, i have had pain everyday since. i know its impossible to have every pitch in good condition, when i ran a football team i always did the pitch inspection with the ref at home games. if i wouldnt play on it then why should i ask someone else to, we had the most games called off every season. the league pulled me in and threatend to kick us out the league if it continued, so much for giving a shit.
if the opportunity is there for players to play on top class playing surfaces, then they should be provided.

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
i agree and do feel sorry for the celtic players the pitches are fine for all the other players and teams in the league but when you have 2 left feet and no brain standing up must be hard enough for the poor little pansies........never mind trying to play a mans game I take your point entirely CR as for jobby keane - too little too late....what a waste of money

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
keane is a class act with more talent than the whole rangers team put together.
the pitch was a disgrace for a top flight game, whats the point just arguing for the sake of arguing. if people are going to tell me the pitch was ok they need an eye test, or maybe even an eye transplant.
and talking of pansies, remember rangers poofed out for the second half against dundee utd because the rain was to heavy.

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
the referee problem could be sorted by the use of camaras, rangers wouldnt want them because they would be in the 3rd division within 3 years.
and why would rangers ever have a go at a fellow mason (ref), your goalie got a kicking last week from two women because he was trying to sexually interfere with them. rangers are crap and celtic just seem to want to shot themselves in the foot.
and tell me, how many times has shitesville (ibrox) been recovered in the last couple of years because its also a midden?
