Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
fecking brilliant, wasnt expecting the kissing of ian paisley at the end kilmarnock v celtic........today, scottish cup celtic have a tough away game today at another midden of a pitch, but if rangers can win there so can we. bad vibes coming out the celtic camp though, the manager talking about not being worried about the sack before a cup tie is not what i want to hear. with no midfield we will struggle though, heavy pitch and no one who can tackle is a bad remedy i hope mowbray will have looked at. im taking celtic to struggle through but i wouldnt be surprised if it went to a replay. another thing that is not happening just now is our late goals tally, celtic were always the masters of the late goal, i wonder if we have scored one under mowbray. this was always a worry to the other team as celtic never give in, they will be tested today.

Brilliant Celtic, keeping your options open, lose win or draw. Fence sitting not allowed!!

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
how is that sitting on the fence? are you not allowed to comment how you feel a game will go? and anyway, i was wrong.
kilmarnock 0 celtic 3
basically the robbie keane aiden mcgeady show, even first half though two players should have been sent off. the tackle on celtic player ramusson was shocking and the kilmarnock player never even got booked. then ramusson got him back off the ball with an elbow to the chin.
not a bad game on a terrible surface, and robbie keane is different class.

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
interesting to note that an EPL reject (Keane) is doing OK in the SPL and SPL reject (Vinegar of Hasselbaink) struggles to make a relegation candidate team. such is the void.

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
An EPL reject? A guy who has played his life in the EPL apart from a spell at the (obviouslly crap) Internazioale Milano turns up at a team who have won the European Cup, English teams who have won same; Liverool, MU, someone called Nottm Forest who play in the xth tier. Oh, and Aston Villa who scare the sh1t out of everyone.
I think not. When NUFC can dream of the support Celtic have speak up. Otherwise back n your box.

OK Macdonald, i'll try again. successful manager in Scotland (Strachan) fails to deliver in the EPL second tier. am i getting through? shite EPL manager (Mowbray) even worse in the SPL just having a bit of fun Mac

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
I remember liverpool player legend gary gillespie coming to scotland from england and he couldnt cut it, there were many others who played for rangers. and alan hansen was total shite for scotland.
but its good to know the father of english football is sir alex ferguson, and is there an englishman who has won the english premiership? its amazing how an average at best team in england (liverpool) cant win a league in 20 years yet win the european cup. it just goes to prove that the european cup is now a mickey mouse event and celtic want no part of it, and we're the biggest mickeys of them all.

I think there are a lot of players who are great at one club but never really cut it when they move on. Most English people must be bemused by the regard with which Jim Baxter and Jimmy Johnstone are held in Scotland. Both pretty much failed in England.

Re: macfootball, for all post on the scottish game (part 2)
well the alcohol had kicked in with jimmy johnstone and jim baxter broke his leg and was never quite the same player though he could produce flashes of the past. but ask anyone who played against johnstone in scotland or england and they will break out into a sweat, both world class players.
