Off to the local WMC to see the live feedback of Newcastle away to the kiddy fiddlers of smogland (middlesboro). All tickets sold out including 3,600 Geordies.
HOWAY THE LADS!

Re: The Real English Football Thread, Part 3
Thank christ for that, Beckham's knacked his achilles.
Won't have the shite media circus around how great a player he is and he must go to the world cup even though he's been a one trick pony all his career busted flush for at least four years and not played a full match at a decent level for three years at least.
Wonder if we'll ever find out the real reason behind Phil Brown being sacked by Hull.
Barmby and Bullard can't have helped with their public fight.

Re: The Real English Football Thread, Part 3
George Best had it right about Beckham: "He cannot kick with his left foot, he cannot head a ball, he cannot tackle and he doesn't score many goals. Apart from that he's all right."

Re: The Real English Football Thread, Part 3
If Best had Beckham's work ethic he could have been World player of the year for a decade and been a true legend. The man was a genius with a football but, unfortunately, too easily tempted......
