So were you at the bar or was it the effect of you having been at the bar?

Incoherent, Incompetent, Insensetive, Indelicate but never inconsequential, there's always a consequence when you're around Mick usually for the bitch.

Oi, behave. I'm as inconsequential as it gets.
First band tonight - California band called Angel City Outcasts. Pretty impressive, but I think it was a last minute-er. Should have been playing elsewhere. Unfortunately they only did a short set. I'd just decided they were worth missing the last bus for, and bought another cider, then they announced last song and closed with "A whole lotta Rosie". Think most of the stuff was their own though, and I'd be happy to see them again.
Next band was a poor punk/liam gallagher crossover, so after finishing the cider i nabbed a taxi. F#ck knows what the california guys musta thought about clearing the stage for this shower, but these things happen.

He's in SF on New Years. I usually make my way to bed before midnight though.

I'm off to see Sid and Susan AKA Mathew Sweet and Susanna Hoffs. I am wearing my Mott The Hoople Rock & Roll Reunion shirt courtesy of Dave. I am sure to be the best dressed person in the venue.

Is he playing with Bobby & Phil or on his own?
Jackie Green, best thing to come out of Sacramento in a long time!

I just came back from Matthew Sweet/ Susanna Hoffs. It was all accoustic and all cover except for the encore which was two Bangles songs (In Your Room, Manic Monday) and two and a half Matthew Sweet songs (Sick Of Myself, 1/2 of I've Been Waiting and Byrdgirl). I didn't realize Susanna Hoffs was so tiny. I really enjoyed myself.
I ran into Dallas Cupps while I was there. I recognized him but he didn't recognize me. He saw my Mott The Hoople Reunion shirt and came over and talked to me. Two other people also came over when they saw my shirt. Apparently Mott The Hoople fans like Matthew Sweet.
A nice evening out. Definately better than I thought it would be.
