Sticky Fingers, after listening to you lot.

Best is between that and Beggar's Banquet for me, but most of them have something worth listening to even if there is a lot of "filler" on the later ones.

Ricky Medlocke. Southern rock. Bit Skynyrd-ish.

But yeah, I do believe they all have some native American ancestry. Not sure how much, but someone on here probably will..

Beggar's Banquet, followed by Sticky Fingers again.
When the Stones were good they were very very good.

It may sound like Skynyrd because Medlocke briefly played drums for the band in its early stages and has been a guitarist in Skynyrd for the past 15 years or so. Not sure about his native American ancestry, but he looks 100 percent anglo.

Hi Andy,
I know the Skynyrd links, and the starting off on drums. He switched to guitar/vocals when Blackfoot started (IIRC). Not sure whether the ancestry bit is rumour, PR, or true. I do know his Grandad (another IIRC) sat in with Blackfoot on some stuff, and co-wrote a couple of songs.

I like them, and have some vinyls from the 80s and a CD collection, but I'm not too well up on them.

Saw the Skynyrd line-up a few years ago, and obviously not the originals but put a good show on. Playing mancsville in a few weeks, but I held off tix in case it clashes with anything IH/MTH. Probably safe to go for it by now.

Regardless of the lineup, that band delivers every night. You can't go wrong. Although I haven't seen them since Billy Powell died.

I have to ask. Is that a cd or dvd?
I am and will be listening to West, Bruce and Laing for a few days now. The reunion show was totally awesome and I will do everything in my power to keep the buzz going! Review on another thread!

A) Where can I find said review?

B) How's Bruce's kid? Haven't heard or seen them yet.

I told Glenn Hughes that him and Bonamassa should tour with this bunch. It'd be a cool show, I'd wager. He said, "We'll see...."

Oh yeah, where can I find a copy of Rory and Bruce? Sounds great, I didn't know they'd worked together.

Just found this West, Bruce Jr., and Laing clip:
