An interesting version of "these boots are made for walking" featuring Robert Fripp. Do you think got her boots from Watts?

Our local Borders is going out of business so I picked up a few things. Now playing is Carney by Leon Russell which is the first this evening during New Purchase Saturday in Randyland.

mick Jones(later of Foreigner) was on that one. Those years started Leslies slide into drug induced oblivion.

Re: What are you listening to? PART 5
I went into the Oxford St Borders in the last few days before that closed down - nothing much there for me. I do note though that the UK Borders in the UK was different (ie not so good), to the US Borders after someone bought out the UK stores a few years ago. G

Re: What are you listening to? PART 5
Yes - Mick Jones has also been a mainstay of Spooky Tooth - although not the era for me. Following on from that old Leslie West clip you posted on the watching topic yesterday there was a 1980 one which shows Leslie at peak decline - amazing to think how different he looks now . G

Re: What are you listening to? PART 5
Argus, their commercial peak.[citation needed] The album was voted by the readers of Sounds magazine as the "best rock album of the year", also "Top British Album" (Melody Maker magazine). "Argus" is now regarded as one of the all-time classic rock albums. Sounds a "pish" album...........
