Anything that takes the game back from those bastards at Sky works for me.

Of course the result would probably mean that some of the top players might end up playing abroad - well let 'em, but don't then let em play back here when they want to.

The other thing is that there are not many English players who would attract foreign clubs. And English/British insularity means few would thrive.

A genuine hero bites the dust.

Keith Alexander dies at only 53, the first black manager in proffessional football in English Leagues.

Spent 15 years managing at the business end of the Football League.

Forget the 'problems' of managing a top flight club this guy worked wher the job was REALLY difficult. It's a piece of piss when you can spend £35 Million on a player, those guiys would be fukked trying to do what this bloke did working on a shoestring and having to drive three players to away agmes in their car every week.

RIP Keith Alexander a true football legend.

RIP Keith. Far too young to go.

Played a few times for County in the old days.

Keith opitomised what a true football pro' is all about. As well as his pro' career he also played non-league, I remember him playing for my hometown club Wisbech Town in the mid-80's...
Very sad end...

Copied from NUFC.com aren't Sky wonderful FFS

After a season in which TV rescheduling of fixtures has meant inconvenience for Newcastle fans, Sky have taken that disruption to a new level with their decision to show our trip to Plymouth live, on Monday April 19th.

We understand that strong protests were made by Newcastle to both the Football League and Sky over the rescheduling of this game, but fell on deaf ears.

Even an amended kick-off time for live TV on the original date of Saturday 17th would have been tolerable and still allowed supporters to travel over the weekend.

It would certainly be preferable to this, which shows a callous disregard for the lives - and finances - of fans, now looking at two days off work. Quite simply, they couldn't make it more difficult if they tried.

At least you get the satellite pieces of silver.

CUFC got the shit straw a month ago and had Exeter away on a Tuesday night with @$%&! all compensation.

Why can't these cunts 'running' football think about the people who matter instead of wanking themselves while making watching your team as difficult as possible?

Surely you don't imagine that they actually think about the fans?

It is about the money, the money and the money. Nothing else matters (except maybe for more money)
