The common factor here is that if you want to hear IH on the radio you need Sirius/XM radio, especially Deep Tracks. Since most new cars come with a trial period you end up like me saying that you will never pay for radio then you get a taste of it and can't go back. I still balk at paying the bill so I called and threatened to cancel, well, they gave me 3 months free without batting an eye. After my 3 month free period it went back to regular so I called again and they said the best deal they could offer was 1/2 price. I turned them down and went back to terresterial radio and it wasn't too bad. But lo and behold, XM called the other day and their new offer is $5 a month for 7 months. I guess the lesson here is that if you have XM, call and see if you can get a better price

When my Sirius/XM subsricption runs out next year, I'm going to play hard ball with them for a better deal. Thanks for the heads up callmeafan3.

Once you have it, you can't go back to regular radio. At least I couldn't.

An acoustic live version of Wash Us Away on Deep Tracks coming home from work today.

The DJ commented afterward, "The audience sound make the live recording. I love that Ian Hunter fans were screaming and whistling, not like some who sit on their hands."

Made me feel good.

Now that I'm laid up, do a lot of listening to Planet Rock. Joe always plays at least one IH or MTH track (often both !) on his Saturday night show. "I get so Excited" was last week's choice. Was also surprised and delighted to hear "Thunderbuck Ram" during the past week and today we got a blinding live version of "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" A decent radio station at last !
