Not a definite gig but I am hoping to see Terry Anderson & The Olympic Ass Kickin' Team in Raleigh on 8th Jan. This band are top of my list of bands I love but have never seen live but I'm hoping they can sort out a gig while I am visiting their local city. It will make an already great holiday even better.

This upcoming show from a couple of months ago is now just 2 days away - Lynyrd Skynyrd are playing a free street gig just down the road as part of Nashville's NYE celebrations but I'm sticking with Jason & The Scorchers

Stretch are playing the Borderline on January 27th,when I'll be in Stockport...............

Further tomorrow and Saturday night at the Bill Graham Auditorium.

Is that "Why did you do it" Stretch from the 70s?

Thanks for the warning. Note to self - avoid Civic Center area this weekend.

I have an extra ticket for Saturday night if you want it.

Otherwise I plan to sell it outside the show to the highest bidder which should piss off a lot of deadbeats deprived of a miracle ticket.

Those who have seen them will already know what an excellent band they are. Those who haven't should buck up because after April they will be no more.

Slim was on the Welsh radio Blues show recently and he said that they didn't want to end up as a band trudging around half filled the gigs without enjoying it. He said that they are not there yet , but wanted to quit before that happens - the classic "quit at the top".

I will also be seeing them in a couple of weeks at Butlins Rock n Blues (now sold out I believe)
