Re: What are you listening to? PART 5
I'm in Cork, Ireland today and just about to go see the memorial they have to Rory in the city centre. Later in the week on my travels north I'm planning to call in to his home town of Ballyshannon to see a statue of him there. Seemingly his grave is just a few miles from Cork but I won't be going there, I think graves are for family and friends, not tourists

Therapy? and Supersuckers. Got both my feet tapping to this cd of a couple of recent purchases. It's hard to drive though with your foot constantly tapping on the gas pedal!

Re: What are you listening to? PART 5
Janis Joplin The Pearl Sessions It is packaged in a very annoying cardboard sleeve designed to fall apart & scratch discs, that apart the sound is incredibly good & although somewhat repetatitive the extra tracks are interesting

Re: What are you listening to? PART 5
As is the extra "at" in repetitive. But you are correct about these effing annoying cardboard sleeves. Last couple of nights in Bowie mode. Space Oddity - a bit raw but some great songs on it. Diamond Dogs - much more polished, and my favourite album of all time. Which means it must be the best album of all time, seeing as I have the best music taste in the world. Even if I am rather modest about it. Mick

Re: What are you listening to? PART 5
Mick - you obviously totally missed Dave's hidden joke (the old onomatopoeia) .I also agree re those sleeves. One of the worst is the superb deluxe "book" edition of Rory's Notes From San Francisco. Almost impossibly not to either scratch the CD or tear the paper liner that hold them into the inside of the hard cover. G
