that was a great half. I didn't think Spain would play with that pace after what I've seen of them in recent weeks. I hope thjey play that way all the time.

just watch Barcelona or Real Madrid every week, it's much of the same, especially Barca.
i think the starting line up for the final consisted of 6 Barca and 4 Real players.

and a wee man from Man City opened the scoring

and a big man from Man City ended up crying

Well it looks like Leeds United have lost their captain, Robert Snodgrass, to Norwich City, six months after losing their captain, Jonny Howson, to Norwich City...! Some 'takeover' this is proving to be.

I see mercenary Michael Owen has signed for Stoke, appropriate as neither of them has played football for a long time

Michael Owen has been ruled out for the next 4 weeks due to a wrist injury sustained whilst signing for Stoke

You're still wrong about the hippo headed twat, his teams play? eye bleedingly bad versions of football, as I've told you repeatedly I don't expect to win things but I do want to enjoy what I watch.
Allardyce is an insult to football & should never be employed by anyone, btw check out how many WHU fans were unhappy with what they had to watch last season

So who just now is a good English manager hooplah? Most English teams seem to win things with money and foreign aid, not having a dig btw but could something be wrong with the coaching system? Most of the great English managers are long gone (Paisley/clough) and there doesn't seem to be anyone who will repeat what they did. They wern't brought up on this system crap, but their teams had a style, and style is deffo missing in the game these days.

Presumably all the world-class English managers are off in obscure footballing backwaters where media coverage doesn't extend - managing teams of world-class Scottish players

C'mon CR. The English managers are bound to lead their teams to top4 finishes. So it's Newcastle, West Ham, Southampton and Reading for next season's Champions League spots.
